pyrolysis carbon black

Scrap tire pyrolysis technology has become the mainstream technology for scrap tire treatment, and has been actively invested by major tire manufacturers and rubber enterprises.

Scrap tires can be turned into treasure through pyrolysis process, and its effective utilization rate is 100%. Scrap tires can be used to extract fuel oil, separate steel wire, obtain carbon black, and generate NCG after treatment. The proportion of each product will vary to different degrees depending on the type of tires.

The application market of scrap tire pyrolysis products is wide and the degree of market recognition is high.

1.Fuel oil can be used directly as boiler heating heavy oil, blended coal tar, marine fuel oil, or purified and distilled to make off-standard diesel, and driven by heavy oil to generate electricity from steam engines.

2.Steel wire can be sold directly after baling and briquetting.

3.The use of carbon black is also very wide. It can be sold directly as fuel, mixed with sawdust, straw and other biomass raw materials and pressed into fuel rods; cement factories and brick kiln factories as clinker or blending material; tire factories and sealing material factories as reinforcing agent, etc.

4.The NCG can be transferred directly back into the combustion chamber during the manufacture process for heating the equipment or stored for next use.

The most significant value-added product of scrap tire pyrolysis is carbon black, which accounts for about 35%. After deep manufacture, carbon black can not only increase the profit of scrap tire pyrolysis industry, but also reduce the manufacture cost of downstream application industry.

pyrolysis carbon blackThe process flow of pyrolysis carbon black deep manufacture treatment is divided into several aspects:

1.Coarse carbon residue is pretreated, then ultrafine ground by a crusher and ground to a fine carbon black that meets the particle size of commonly used industrial carbon black;

2.Fine carbon black modified by carbon black activation to obtain carbon black for rubber with improved reinforcing properties;

3.Powder carbon black is mixed and granulated to form granulated carbon black.

Pyrolysis carbon black after deep processing:

1.Replace some industrial carbon black in the rubber products industry;

2.Doing plastic masterbatch experiments in the plastic manufacture industry, used for PE blow molding, EVA foam, plastic molded parts, etc. Pyrolysis carbon black can not only reduce the cost of using industrial carbon black, but also improve the visual impression of chromaticity;

3.Instead part of wood-based and coal-based activated carbon, used for waste water purification treatment and environmental protection;

4.Used in the printing and dyeing industry as pigment and colorant of offset printing ink, which can improve the blackness, brightness, dispersibility and fluidity of the ink;

5.It is used as inorganic filler for road asphalt modification reinforcement. It can greatly improve the overall performance of pavement, especially in areas with strong UV exposure.

Carbon black is an important reinforcing and filling material for tires, and is one of the main ingredients in tires manufacture. Traditional industrial carbon black is manufactured using processes such as incomplete combustion of hydrocarbon compounds, which is a high energy consumption industry. The scrap tire recycling industry formed by recycling and pyrolysis of scrap tires is a good choice for the resource recycling industry.

Niutech has nearly 40 years of technology development and application history in the field of scrap tire pyrolysis. Its large-scale continuous scrap tire pyrolysis technology equipment has an annual processing capacity of over 30,000 tons, which is much higher than other pyrolysis equipment. And the equipment has obvious advantages in terms of energy consumption and stability. At present, several pyrolysis projects have achieved more than 10 years of stable operation. The equipment has been cooperated with many leading enterprises in the tire industry and has been widely applied in dozens of countries and regions around the world.
